CWH Surveyors is an independent firm of residential surveyors and valuers based in Grantham, Lincolnshire. We provide RICS Home Survey Level 2 and RICS Home Survey Level 3 reports, alongside property valuations and expert witness services across the East and West Midlands, East Anglia and Yorkshire.

With many years experience David carries out residential survey and valuation mainly across Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire from the Trent to the North Sea. “The variety of property I see keeps the work interesting, with General Practice surveying I can help people with their property purchase one day and then large corporate companies with their lending decisions the next.”

James Glover
James has worked within the East Midlands since 1988 qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor in 1997. Specialising in Residential Survey and Valuation he has undertaken work for a wide variety of clients covering properties of all sizes and values. This knowledge base gives James a full understanding of the current housing market across the region.

Richard Girdwood

Drawing on a wealth of expertise in survey and property valuation, including a period as a valuer in London, Richard sees a key part of his role is to advise and inform clients to assist with decision making and financial planning. “Purchasing a property is a big financial commitment, helping people understand their new home or investment to ensure there are no hidden pitfalls can be very rewarding”. Carrying out all aspects of residential valuation work, including mortgage valuations and Homebuyers reports Richard covers the central Midlands area including Oakham, Leicester and Nottingham.
Phillip Chapman
Phillip is a local surveyor with over twenty years’ experience in the South Yorkshire and North Nottinghamshire Region. With extensive knowledge of building pathology and the property market, Phillip surveys every property with the expertise of a true professional. There are few surveyors who are able to provide such in-depth analysis of property construction and value in a clear and straight forward manner. Phillip came from a corporate background but feels that the best way to help home buyers is through the personal connection that only comes with a private practice.
Robert Croston
With over 25 years in the property industry Robert is an experienced valuer in the Lincolnshire and East Midlands area. Robert has developed strong client relationships over the years and recognises the importance of explaining issues that crop up on survey and valuation work in a reassuring manner. He continues to expand his wealth of knowledge and enjoys the role he plays in helping purchasers secure their new home.
Miles Hughes
Having spent most of his early career as an estate agent Miles took his property valuation expertise and qualified through the RICS to become an Assoc.RICS surveyor. By adding building pathology to his range of skills, Miles has quickly become a standard bearer for continued professional development illustrating how additional training and dedication to the understanding of property issues can benefit not only the individual but also the property buying public. With a high level of knowledge about purchasing property Miles advises private and corporate investors alike on the value, condition and quality of their property purchase. Miles covers Lincoln, Scunthorpe, Grimsby, Brigg and surrounding areas.
John Walker
Qualified in 1985 having worked in the property industry since 1969. John has lived and worked in Derbyshire and Leicestershire and over the borders into Staffordshire for the whole of that time and has a wealth of knowledge of both values and construction.
John is a residential surveyor helping people with their property needs and providing surveys and valuations for purchase, helping to provide legal teams in valuation disputes.
